As an on-site agent sitting alone at model homes, I face more risks than most professionals. I meet a variety of different people each day, some of whom may not have the best intentions in mind. I recently attended the S.A.F.E. Realtor Safety Seminar at the 2008 Florida Association of Realtor's Annual conference. I learned that staying safe, as well as successful takes more than common sense. Mr. Wooten teaches the strategies that both men and women can easily use to minimize our risks. He takes a humorous approach while educating the principals of personal safety. The interactive demonstration allowed me to actually try to escape from this 6'7, 280 lb. black-belt's assault. Not an easy task. However, after learning a few simple techniques I was able to escape unharmed. Mr. Wooten's strategies combined with an increased awareness of today's crimes has taught me the steps to take to insure my personal safety while continuing a successful career in real estate.

First and foremost, I would like to point out that this is an unsolicited recommendation; Andrew did not ask me to provide him with one.

I just had Andrew speak at my annual convention last week (Sept. 2008). Not only did he blow people away with his Identity Theft class (in fact, the owner of one of our largest offices immediately following his class went to the Staples across the street and bought a shredder), he drew a HUGE audience in our exhibit hall for a safety demonstration. He was a smash hit!!

Moreover, Andrew is a JOY to work with. He is so easy going and highly professional. During his free time leading up to the class and demo, Andrew didn't waste a moment. He spent time getting to know the attendees by talking with them (and becoming fast friends with many of them) and listening/studying their questions in order to adapt his presentations to the specific needs/questions of the audience. He even visited local organizations totally on his own to ask them about their needs and concerns in his spare time.

THANK YOU for returning to Iowa City once again. There are many times the thoughts you have shared ring in my head when I am out working around our neighborhoods. I am very grateful for all that you share.
